Press Release Body = Los Angeles, CA - Los Angeles-based gallery owner and outsider
artist Dover Abrams @ the "Raw Arts Festival" 2007. This year the festival moves to
New York, with such great success in London in 2004,2005 and coming off a great
festival in Valencia, Spain 2006 ,Piers Midwinter artist and organizer of the
festivals intends to keep moving the festival around the world helping to showcase
many great artists thru a non-mainstream art festival.

Dover Abrams floats between the world of unstoppable self-_expression, immeasurable
energy, innocent frustration, biting irony and an intuitive comprehension of human
relationships and emotions. He is an accomplished self-taught painter, sculptor,
musician, and gallery owner from Los Angeles. His paintings have been described as
ultra vibrant abstract figurative art with primitive undertones. The former
graffiti artist exchanged spray can for artist\'s brush at the influence of
partner/wife Jill Abrams, and in doing so discovered the most creative phase yet in
his artistic evolution. Where plastic nozzles once spewed visual statements on
concrete and stucco, now tubes of oil paint are blended in bold, sweeping lines on
canvas and plywood, applied in a rhythm that finds its pace between the passion of
youth and the measured understanding of creative maturity.

Abrams, the co-owner and curator of Infusion Gallery in downtown Los Angeles, along
with his wife, artist and co-owner, Jill Abrams are infamous in southern California
for single-handedly creating an art scene in North Hollywood\'s NoHo Arts District
with their successful operation of the Lankershim Art Gallery for five-and-a-half
years. They moved to their new 3,000 square-foot gallery space located on Los
Angeles\' Gallery Row where they have been active helping to make LA\'s downtown art

Abrams was involved with the first "Raw Arts Festival" in August 2004 as a
participant as well as a gallery partner. This year, he will be displaying some of
his recent works on paper. The festival features artists from the worlds of
Folk/Intuitive/Marginalized/Outsider/Self-taught/Visionary art. 2004's festival was
probably the first festival to openly bring together such a wide variety of
'non-mainstream' top quality raw artists and organizations from around the world.
